Kate was the only loan officer who took the time to walk me through a mortgage from front to back, answer any question I had (no matter how much I might be splitting hairs) and was super-responsive to our every need even after we decided to go with their loan and the house was purchased. Having applied for and shopped around for 5+ mortgages for the purchase, I can honestly say that no one else even came close to the level of service we experienced. Kate was also the only loan officer who, after sending in our loan application, approached us to have a conversation about our loan strategy – helping us decide whether it was best to minimize closing costs or instead seek the lowest interest rate. (Every other lender was too busy dogging us to warn that interest rates were on the rise, trying to scare us into picking their loan offer.)
